براساس اطلاعات رسانه ها، حکومت جمهوری اسلامی پاکستان در منطقه برمل ولایت پکتیکا به نصب سیم خاردار اقدام کرده است. حکومت جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان با ابراز مخالفت در رابطه به این اقدام بارها گفته است که این کارباعث جدایی اقوام و خانواده های دوطرف خط دیورند می شود، وهیچ کمکی مثبتی نیز به مبارزه با تروریزم کرده نمی تواند. ـ
واقیعت دیگر این است که میان دو کشور علایم مرزی مورد قبول دو طرف وجود نداشته و در سالهای جهاد نیز ابهامات بیشتری بر آن افزود شده است. بنابر این سوال اساسی مطرح میشود که این سیم خاردار در قلمرو کدام کشور تعبیه خواهد شد؟

OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, arrived in Afghanistan today to begin her first visit to this country and to show her support for Canadian soldiers and the people of Afghanistan.
The Governor General stated that she wanted this visit to take place specifically on March 8, International Women’s Day. “The women of Afghanistan may face the most unbearable conditions, but they never stop fighting for survival. Of course, we, the rest of the women around the world, took too long to hear the cries of our Afghan sisters, but I am here to tell them that they are no longer alone. And neither are the people of Afghanistan,” said the Governor General. |

Arg, Kabul - H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of
Afghanistan, in a telephone call expressed his sympathies to elders and
family members of the victims of Nangarhar incident who had gathered in
office of the Governor of Nangarhar province.
During this telephone conversation, the President expressed his heartfelt
sympathies to them and prayed for the full and speedy recovery of the
injured.
The families of the victims requested for the identification of the
perpetrators of this incident and bringing them to justice.
The President yesterday issued an order for conducting investigation and
sending the inquiry team to Nangarhar province.
In today's cabinet meeting, the President and the cabinet prayed for those
who were martyred in the incident and instructed the relevant authorities to
assist the families of the victims.
