Strengthening the sub-national systems of governance and service delivery is vital for achieving development and security in Afghanistan, says a World Bank report released today.
According to the report - Service Delivery and Governance at the Sub-National Level in Afghanistan - the key constraints to strengthening sub-national systems in the country are the absence of a clear policy framework regarding its desired institutional structure, and a strategy to implement it. |

On July 6th,the first meeting of the "Joint Working Group" comprised of officials from Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan was held in the Turkish capital,to boost confidence-building between Afghanistan and Pakistan .
Upon an invitation by Ertugrul Apakan, Undersecretary of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister, H.E. Mohammad Kabir Farahi and Pakistani Foreign Secretary, H.E. Riaz Muhammad Khan attended the meeting. The following Joint Press Statement on the conclusion of the visit was released. |

جلالتماب حامد کرزی رئیس جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان بخاطر کشته شدن 6 تن از عساکر کانادایی سازمان ناتو و مترجم افغان آنها در ولایت کندهار ابراز تاسف کرد. ـ
این سربازان و مترجم آنها دیروز در اثر بمب گذاری کنار جاده در ولایت کندهار جان های شان را از دست دادند. ـ
رئیس جمهور کشور با ابراز تاثر بخاطر از دست رفتن جان سربازان کانادایی و مترجم افغان آنها گفت: این سربازان و همکار شان در راه هدف والای انسانی تحکیم صلح و ثبات و بازسازی در افغانستان و مبارزه با تروریزم بین المللی که تهدید علیه بشریت است، جان های شان را از دست دادند. ـ
