Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, strongly condemned the killing of an Indian engineer.

The enemies of Afghanistan abducted an Indian engineer who worked for an Afghan Telecommunications Company Roshan on the Kabul-Kandahar road in Shahjui district of Zabdul on Friday and subsequently killed him.

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, in a letter written to H.E. Steven Harper, Prime Minister of Canada, expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to the people and Government of Canada.

In the letter the President said “The people of Afghanistan share your pain for we too have lost many of our young people in our common struggle against terrorism.”

“Afghanistan is grateful to Canada for the sacrifices offered by your soldiers. These sacrifices will further solidify the bond of friendship between our peoples and strengthen our mutual resolve to eliminate terrorism and to build a world where people live in peace and harmony.”

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Dahab, the Egyptian resort town, killing at least 23 people and wounding 62.

In his reaction to the news the President “This attack is a barbaric act of terrorism and I condemn it in the strongest terms. This attack reminds us that the fight against terrorism is a top international priority and the international community must fight this menace with a coordinated and integrated approach .”

The President, on behalf of the people of Afghanistan, expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and Government Egypt.

حامد کرزی رئیس جمهوری  اسلامی  افغانستان  حمله  تروریستی  برنیروهای  حافظ صلح کانادایی در ولایت قندهار  را که منجر  به کشته شدن  چهار تن از این نیروها شد  شدیدا" محکوم کرد . ـ

  رئیس جمهور  کشور درواکنش  به این حمله  تروریستی  اظهار داشت: ـ

دستور دهنده گان واجرا کننده گان  این عمل  نامردانه  وضد انسانی  مزدورانی  اند که میخواهند  پروسه صلح وآرامش  را اخلال  نموده  ، وحشت را در افغانستان  حاکم سازند ،   اماآ نها با چنین  اعمال تروریستی  بیشتر  مورد  انزجار  و نفرت مردم  مصیبت  دیده افغانستان  قرار میگیرند  و شکست شان  نزدیک  میشود . ـ

رئیس جمهور کشور  با اظهار  تاسف  از کشته  شدن عساکر کانادایی  به نماینده گی  از مردم افغانستان  مراتب  همدردی و تسلیت  خود را به  مردم کانادا  و خانواده  های قربانیان  ابراز  میدارد . ـ

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, returned to Kabul this evening after his historic visit to the province Badghis. President Karzai is the first leader of Afghanistan to visit the province of Badghis.

Thank the Almighty God for enabling our nation to emerge from another test with success and dignity. The recent days’ debate in the parliament clearly indicates the Government Institutions’ sense of responsibility.

The MPs’ constructive stand on the approval of the proposed ministers, regardless of ethnic and factional backgrounds, indicates that the people of Afghanistan and their Representatives are making great strides in their attempt to strengthen the Government.

خداوند بزرگ را سپاسگزارم که ملت ما را توفیق عنایت فرمود تا از یک آزمون مشکل دیگر سربلند برون آید. ـ

مباحث روز های اخیر در ولسی جرگه، دلیل روشنی است بر مسئولیت پذیری ار گان های  دولت جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان. برخورد های سازندۀ  نمایندگان مردم در روز های اخیر و تصمیم آنها مبنی بر تأیید وزرای پیشنهادی، بدون در نظر گیری وابستگی های قومی و گروهی نشان میدهد که مردم و نمایندگان آنها با استواری بسوی تحکیم دولت ما قدم بر می دارند. ـ

هفده تن  از نامزدان  پیشنهادی رئیس  جمهور افغانستان  طی رای گیری  سری  مستقیم  و انفرادی  مورد تائید  اعضای ولسی جرگه  قرار  گرفتند .ـ

در جلسه  امروز ولسی جرگه  با انکه  244  تن از وکلا  حاضر  و چهار تن  دیگر نسبت  معاذیری  غیر حاضر  بودند  نماینده گان  ملت  به  25 تن  از نامزدان  پیشنهادی رئیس  جمهور افغانستان  رای  دادند .ـ

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, ordered the authorities at the Ministries of Interior and National Defense in cooperation with the Coalition Forces to investigate the death of seven Afghan civilians in the province of Kunar.

According to reports, seven Afghan civilians were killed and three wounded in the province of Kunar during a military operation against the enemies of Afghanistan involving Afghan and coalition forces.

The President expressed his regret at this unfortunate incident and instructed the security forces to be highly cautious and avoid civilian casualties during their military operations against the terrorists.

The President expressed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims.

جلالتمآب حامد کرزی رئیس جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان به مقامات امنیتی دستور داده است تا در همکاری با نیروهای ائتلاف بین المللی در مورد کشته شدن 7 تن از ساکنین ولایت کنر تحقیقات فوری را آغاز نمایند. ـ

در عملیات نظامی که در ولایت کنر بر ضد دشمنان مردم افغانستان جریان دارد، 7 تن از ساکنین منطقه مانوگی  آن ولایت به روز یک شنبهء به شهادت رسیدند. ـ

1. At the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, His Excellency Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is currently paying a State visit to India (April 9-13, 2006).

2. During the visit, the two leaders held talks on a wide-range of bilateral issues as well as regional and international matters of common interest. They welcomed the progress achieved in bilateral relations since President Hamid Karzai’s visit to India, February 23-25, 2005 and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Afghanistan, August 28-29, 2005, and agreed to take this relationship further into a new paradigm of friendship and cooperation. They affirmed that the time-tested friendly relationship between the two countries, underpinned by historical and cultural ties, had overcome many challenges and were today based on a shared commitment to the ideals of democracy, peace and security.

Arg, Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, strongly condemned the killing of a Turkish engineer in the province of Farah.

In his reaction to the news the President said, “This barbaric act of terrorism by the enemies of Afghanistan revealed their hidden agenda to the people of Afghanistan. Afghans will never waver in their determination to rebuild their country. The foreign mercenaries must understand that their defeat is inevitable.”

جلالتماب حامدکرزی رئیس جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان قتل انجنیر ترکی  را به شدت محکوم کرد. ـ

دشمنان افغانستان شام دیروز در سرک منطقه دلارآم ولایت فراه به موتر حامل انجنیر ترکی حمله کرده، وی را به ضرب گلوله به قتل رساندند.وسپس جسد وی را سوختانده به روی سرک انداختند. ـ
