Kabul – H.E. Hamid Karzai, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, will leave tomorrow 22 March 2005 on an official visit to Islamabad, Pakistan.
The President will be accompanied by a high level delegation, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs; Commerce; National Defense; Transport; Youth; Refugees and Returnees; Borders and Tribal Affairs; and the National Security Advisor.
During the visit, the President will hold talks with H.E. Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and H.E. Shaukat Aziz, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Bilateral talks will be supplemented by the signing of agreements between counterpart ministers in several areas, including transport, media and culture.
The President will also attend the official ceremony marking the Pakistan Day on 23 March.
