Kabul – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan would like to announce that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host the 3rd annual Afghanistan Development Forum (ADF) from Monday, 4th of April to Wednesday, 6th of April 2005. The Forum will be under the theme of “Accelerating economic development”.

During ADF, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan will present a strategy to enhance economic growth and to improve domestic revenue collection for the coming year 1384 (2005/2006) National Budget. The government of Afghanistan will also illustrate a plan for counter-narcotics.

H.E Hamid Karzai, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, will introduce the Forum. In addition, participant members of the cabinet will present their projects, objectives and visions on related fields to the representatives of donor countries and civil society organizations. Panel discussions will also be held to elaborate on topics and issues presented.
