متعاقباً عمرصمد سفیر افغانستان در کانادا ضمن صحبت با خبرنگاران، از اقدام جدید کانادا مبنی بر کمک به یک سکتور نهایت مهم اقتصادی افغانستان ابراز امتنان نموده، شبکه آبیاری را جزء زیربنای ویران شده زراعت افغانستان قلمداد نمود که احیای آن از جمله اولویت های استراتیژی انکشاف ملی افغانستان می باشد. ـ

Ottawa- The Ambassador of Afghanistan to Canada and Mrs. Samad attended the service marking the burial of Capt. Nichola Goddard, killed in combat in Afghanistan on May 17, at the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa, Wednesday.
On behalf of the Afghan Government and people, the Afghan envoy conveyed his sympathies to Capt. Goddard’s family members and told them “Afghans will never forget her ultimate sacrifice and her bravery for the cause she believed in.”
He added, “she will be remembered as a daughter of Afghanistan as we honor her memory.”
