Chief of the press service of the Russian border force in Tajikistan Col. Alexander Kondratyev told Interfax on Monday that during the second stage of that transfer that began on Friday a border section in the flatlands would be transferred.
He said between May 13 and 16 six out of nine frontier posts were handed over. The nine guarantee protection of a 69-kilomeer-border strip. "We still have to hand over the frontier posts in Okmazar, Chubek and Dakhana and the commandant's office in Parkhar," he said. |
