She is accompanied by Canadem's Director of Operations, Christine Vincent, and Canadem's regional officer, Ms. Fatana Attaee, whose organization is involved in the support of police reform in Afghanistan. CANADEM is a non-profit agency dedicated to advancing international peace and security through the recruitment, screening, promotion and rapid mobilization of Canadian expertise, and is working with the Embassy to help with professional recruitment efforts for Afghanistan. |

They exchange views on the role of women in Afghanistan, the activites of AWO since its inception in 1990 and possibilities of enhancing the Afghan community's role in support of developments in Afghanistan. Ms. Niazi also presented several boxes of academic books to the Embassy to be shipped to Afghanistan. |
